Tattoo

After Care Recommendation:

1. Remove the bandage after 24hrs. Gently wash the tattoo with antimicrobial soap and water and be sure to pat dry.
2. Apply a layer of antibacterial / tattoo ointment twice a day, but don't put on another bandage.
3. Gently wash your tattoo area twice a day with soap and water and gently pat before reapplying the antibacterial / tattoo ointment.
4. Keep reapplying a moisturizer or ointment after you clean it to keep it moist.

• You should repeat this process for 2 to 4 weeks. Also try not to wear clothes that will stick to your tattoo and avoid swimming and the sun for about 2 weeks. And take cool showers. Scalding hot water will not only hurt, but it can also fade the ink. Wear a physical blocker sunscreen with atleast 7% zinc oxide sunscreen during the daylight hours and/or cover it up (with clothing, a bandage).

• If you tattoo scabs a bit or develops hard layers, don't worry. It's normal. But never pick, scratch, or peel it. You could get infection or remove the color. If you think your tatoo is infected, or isn't healing properly, go see your doctor.

Piercing

After Care Instructions:

1. Keep the piercing dry and clean.
2. Do not use alcohol.
3. Do not expose it to too much sunlight.
4. Avoid touching your piercing.
5. Avoid swimming pools.

• Be careful about your hair, towel, clothings or mask getting caught in the piercing.
• If there’s pain, you can take mefenamic acid 500mg every 6 hours.
• Next day, after taking a shower, use cotton buds to clean only the surface.
• Do not wipe directly on the hole to avoid earring movements.
• Discharge and dry scab is normal, do not touch as it may cause more irritation.
• It will heal naturally. You can start using piercing aftercare available in BlackMagic or Salinase nasal spray or drops on the piercings 2x a day.
• If piercing is taken good care of, it will be fully healed in about a month or two but in some cases, can take maximum of 6 months.
